What is White Balanced?
There are many different light sources that produce "white" light however this light is also slightly tinted with other colours. The aim of white balance is for white objects to show as white in your photography. As humans we see this normally because our brain changes it for us, whereas a camera needs to be told or work it out for itself. Many photographers don't really use it but when it is used it can change your photography massively. As well as a colour the light holds it also has a temperature. This temperature shows in your picture turing it slightly orange, blue, red, etc.
